Five hundred turn out to Eat, Drink & Be Merry

Sheldon and Mary of the Social Wave gave away free hot chocolate.

The Downtown Campbell Business Association hosted approximately 500 people who showed up on the chilly evening of Dec. 16 for an evening of good cheer, special holiday shopping and entertainment which had the appropriate moniker: Eat, Drink & Be Merry. N.O.W. Marketing, which sponsored the event along with the DCBA hosted a Passport event where shoppers took a passport around to shops for a stamp and were rewarded with special prizes. “One woman got her passport stamped at every shop and restaurant in downtown and was rewarded with the grand prize of a night at the Campbell Inn and a dinner at Mio Vicino, along with a lot of other prizes,” according to N.O.W. owner Nancy Whitney.
