Governing board sworn in: Officers announced

Four incumbent Campbell Union School District (CUSD) board members took the Oath of Office last month at the CUSD Governing Board’s Organizational Meeting. The gavel passed from Susan Mayer to Janet Johnson, who will serve as president through 2005. Scott Kleinberg was named vice president and Danielle Cohen is clerk.


Westmont PTSA is looking for new officers

Westmont High School’s Parent Teacher Student Association is looking for new officers. The office of president will soon be vacated. This position can be shared. If you are interested call the school at 378-1500. The next meeting will be held in the library at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 1.


CUSD receives a clean audit

The Campbell Union School District received a glowing report from independent auditors Vavrinek, Trine, Day & Co. Certified Public Accountants. The audit showed no exceptions to the district’s accounting, noting that CUSD has met all state and federal requirements and that, unlike many districts in the state, CUSD shows solvency for all of its existing fiscal obligations.


CUHSD wants feedback on how to spend Measure M funds

The Campbell Union High School District is interested in hearing the public’s opinion on how to spend Measure M funds. Meetings will be held Jan. 25 and Feb. 9 from 7 – 9 p.m. at the district office.
