Early morning fire that displaces 10 families under investigation

On Dec.27 residents of an apartment complex on South Bascom Avenue were rudely awakened in the early morning hours by an intruder—a fire that “is currently under investigation,” said Captain Alberto Olmos with the San Jose Fire Dept. Fortunately there were no injuries reported as a result of the fire, which may have been started in a carport. Approximately 10 apartments were damaged and the residents were relocated to other apartments within the complex. Photos by Jamie Eidschun
