A week ago the victim placed outgoing mail in her mailbox and then noticed that it was missing the same day before the mailman arrived. On this date she calls the recipient of the mail who states that they never got it.

A suspect stole mail from a residence and was stopped by a Campbell officer. The mail was recovered and the suspect was cited.

N. Harrison Avenue
A victim’s mail was stolen on Dec. 15. Two suspects were identified as printing phony checks in the victim’s name and cashing them.

Assault
Dell Park
While jogging in the park a suspect and her husband saw a victim supposedly parked illegally in the park parking lot. They told him that he is illegally parked, and an argument ensues. The female suspect spits on the victim and hits him in the face. Both the suspect and her husband then flee. The suspect is contacted and comes into the police station for a citation.

S. Bascom Avenue (United Emergency Animal Clinic)
A suspect brought his dog, which was struck by a vehicle into the clinic. Upon notification that the dog was deceased, the suspect became angry and kicked a hole in the wall. The suspect fled prior to the officer’s arrival. A report was sent to the district attorney.

E. Campbell Avenue (Gaslighter Theatre)
A 20-year-old white male from Sunnyvale was drinking inside the theatre during a rock concert. He was confronted by a security guard and punched the guard in the face before fleeing. He was caught and arrested.

Cherry Avenue (Campbell Middle School)
Unknown suspects pried open the door to the school and took computers and three video cameras. A report was taken.

Suspected Child Abuse
Sobrato Drive
Police received a call of suspected child abuse and contacted the parents who were both found to have felony warrants for kidnapping in Capitola and various other warrants. The abuse was unfounded. The suspects were arrested.

Brandishing a Weapon
W. Hamilton Avenue (PetSmart)
A suspect was upset about an early morning delivery to nearby PetSmart so he confronted the delivery driver. He brandished a firearm at the victim and shined a spotlight in his eyes. A report was sent to the district attorney.

Union Avenue
A suspect came over to his ex-wife’s apartment and kicked in the exterior door leading to the victim’s bedroom. A report was taken.

Domestic Violence
Whitwood Lane
A 37-year-old woman reported that her 22-year-old boyfriend bit and grabbed her during an argument. The victim had bruising and a bite mark on her arm. The suspect was arrested.
