CAMPBELL CRIME REPORT
Theft
Jan. 29, Railway Avenue
A victim was awakened at 5 a.m. by a loud “thump” and movement on his balcony. When he looked out, he noticed his bike had been stolen. The victim walked around his complex trying to locate the suspect but was unsuccessful. A report was taken.
Battery, False Imprisonment
Jan. 30, San Tomas Aquino Road at Hacienda Avenue
A 41-year-old male suspect left a location in Los Gatos chasing a victim in a separate car. The suspect ran the victim off the road at Hacienda at STAR. The suspect then grabbed the victim and they both left in the suspect’s truck. Witnesses called police. Police officers located the suspect and victim at an address and the victim was hiding from the suspect inside the residence. The suspect was arrested and an emergency protective order was issued for the victim.

Feb. 1, Campbell Avenue
A victim was standing in line at Starbucks when a 38-year-old white, male walked inside talking to himself. He then punched the victim in the leg without provocation and fled on a bicycle. He was located in the area and arrested.

Feb. 13, Superior Drive
Two suspects and a victim got into an argument, which turned physical when Suspect 1 grabbed the victim by the throat as she was leaving. Suspect 2 joined in the struggle and also grabbed the victim by the throat. A report was taken.

Feb. 13, Whitwood Drive
A 21-year old suspect slapped the victim in the face several times during an argument while doing a child exchange and took her cell phone. The suspect fled prior to police arrival. A report was taken.
Corporal Injury to Spouse
Feb. 15, Harrison Avenue
A victim went to Community Hospital of Los Gatos after the suspect pushed her down the stairs and twisted her arm. She had a bump on her head and a dislocated shoulder. The suspect was gone on arrival from their residence.
Battery, Vandalism
Feb. 18, Harriet Avenue
A 14-year-old male suspect got into a physical altercation with his sister. The sister stabbed the suspect in the wrist with a fork in defense. The suspect ripped the phone cord out of the wall as the victim was calling for help. The suspect was taken to Juvenile Hall.
Assault with a Deadly Weapon
Feb. 20, E. Hamilton Avenue (Sushi Boat)
A 36-year-old Asian male became angry at a victim and cracked a wooden high chair over the victim’s head. He then punched the victim in the face. The victim received a laceration on the head,which required stitches. The suspect was arrested.
Mail Theft
Feb. 21, Burrows Road
A victim reported the theft of his bank checks from his mailbox.
Attempted Vehicle Theft, Theft of a Credit Card
Feb. 28, S. Winchester Boulevard (Bank of the West)
The victim left her vehicle running while she got money from the ATM. An unknown suspect got into the victim’s truck and attempted to leave. The victim confronted the suspect on the driver’s side. The suspect fled via the passenger side. The victim chased the suspect who was last seen westbound on Adler Drive. While the victim chased the suspect another unknown suspect took her ATM card and cash she had left in the ATM when she was confronting the first suspect. The first suspect’s description is a white male in early 20’s, very short blonde hair, green eyes, wearing a green pullover with a hood and blue jeans.
Drunk in Public
Mar. 3, Heritage Village Drive
The 39-year-old male suspect was reportedly urinating on the front door of an apartment. He was determined to be under the influence and unable to care for his own safety and was arrested.
