Attempted child molestation, sending harmful materials over the Internet

A 26-year-old male was arrested for attempted lewd acts with a child.

Death threat
Adler Drive
The suspect called the victim and threatened to kill himself and the victim because he hasn’t seen his children. The victim says that this behavior has been going on for four years. The victim wanted documentation to seek a restraining order.

Discharge of a firearm at an inhabited dwelling
San Tomas Aquino Road
An unknown caliber round was fired through a victim’s outside wall on Jan. 26, knocking a picture off the wall. At the time the victim thought it might have been a small earthquake. The victim later found a hole in the exterior wall and called the police.

Assault with a deadly weapon
Hacienda Avenue
The suspect and the victim got into an argument the day before and the suspect slashed the victim’s cheek with a knife. The victim went to O’Connor Hospital and the doctor called the police. The victim, a male adult, refused to give the suspect’s name or address until he requested a civil standby to pick up his belongings. The suspect, a female adult, claimed she knew nothing of the incident.

Public intoxication
E. Campbell Avenue at First Street
A 21-year-old male was doing “snow angels” in the intersection but there was no snow. He was arrested because he was determined to be intoxicated and unable to care for himself.

Armed robbery
S. Winchester Boulevard (Safeway)
The victims were walking to Safeway when two black male teenagers approached them by the loading docks and asked for change for a five dollar bill. When the victims said they did not have change, both suspects pulled out knives, threatened the victims and took their wallets, credit cards and cash. The suspects ran westbound on Adler on foot.

Assault with a deadly weapon
Sunnyoaks Avenue at Emory Drive
Police received a call regarding a female attempting to stab a male with a screwdriver. The victim was located in the area. He stated that his ex-girlfriend had just tried to run him over with her car. He jumped out of the way and she then got out of the car and attacked him with a screwdriver, causing a small cut on his lip. He wrestled the screwdriver away from her and she fled in an older car. The victim stated that the suspect is a transient and possibly staying in local motels. A report was sent to the district attorney.

Domestic battery, brandishing a firearm, death threats
La Plata Plaza
During an argument between a husband and wife that escalated to mutual pushing and shoving, the wife retrieved a 44 caliber revolver, pointed it at her husband and told him she was going to shoot him. She was taken into custody without incident and was found to be under the influence.

Identity theft
Ginden Court
A victim reported that an unknown suspect used her ATM card to withdraw money from her checking account. This occurred in Morocco. The victim is in possession of her card and does not know how the suspect acquired her number. A report was taken.

Petty theft, receiving stolen property
W. Rincon Avenue
A victim saw two juveniles inside her unlocked vehicle taking items from her car. The victim and her husband confronted the juveniles who ran away. They were located running eastbound on Rincon. After being stopped and arrested, officers found one of the juveniles had 496 credit cards in his possession from an unreported crime.

Forgery, burglary
Railway Avenue
A victim reported that her bank called and reported suspicious activity with her checking account. Two checks were forged and cashed at an unknown location. The victim also discovered her checkbook missing from her vehicle that had been left locked in the parking lot of her apartment complex.

Battery
E. Hamilton Avenue
A 19-year-old female got into a verbal altercation with a victim. After the verbal argument the suspect threw a rock at the victim striking him in the leg. Due to ongoing problems between the suspect and the victim, the suspect was arrested on the likelihood of reoccurrence.

Grand theft
Burnham Court
The victim hired a day laborer to help her move. Later she found she was missing a substantial amount of money from her residence.
