CAMPBELL CRIME REPORT
Battery
March 6, E. Hamilton Avenue (Home Depot)
A 19-year-old Hispanic male was trespassing on Home Depot property and he pushed and tried to trip the security officer when he was asked to leave. He was arrested.
Trespassing
March 7, Page Street
A victim came home from work to find an unknown suspect in the attached sunroom to her residence. The suspect fled when the victim saw him. The suspect is described as an Asian male adult between the ages of 25-30 about 5’3" weighing 160 pounds and wearing a blue windbreaker and dark pants.
Auto Burglary, Receiving Stolen Property
March 10, E. Hamilton Avenue (Elephant Bar)
Three suspects were observed entering the parking lot of the Elephant Bar. The suspects exited their vehicles and looked into several vehicles before smashing the window on a truck. The suspects took a briefcase and ran back to the waiting vehicle. An officer located the vehicle fleeing the scene and conducted a car stop. The victim’s property was recovered along with additional stolen property. Some of the property was found to be from auto burglaries that occurred earlier in the night in the Santana Row area. The three suspects, all from Oakland, were arrested.
Vandalism, Trespassing
March 15, Camden Avenue (Jack-in-the-Box Restaurant)
Employees of the Jack-in-the-Box asked the suspects to leave. As they left they threatened to bring back their "crew." They came back the next day and began vandalizing the interior of the restaurant and challenging employees to fight. The suspect that did the damage was arrested.
Drunk in Public
March 19, W. Hacienda Avenue
A 28-year-old white female locked herself out of her apartment. At approximately the same time, the fire alarm next to her door was pulled. She was arrested for being drunk in public.
Corporal Injury to a Spouse/Cohabitant, False Imprisonment
March 19, Camden Avenue (Jack-in-the-Box Restaurant)
The 42-year-old male suspect and the female victim got into an argument at a party in San Jose. The suspect became enraged as they left driving back home to Campbell. While enroute, the suspect begins driving so recklessly that the victim begs to be let out of the car. The suspect refuses to let her out. The victim jumps out of the car at the Jack-in-the-Box and is injured. The victim calls from the restaurant and the suspect flees home. The suspect is arrested at his residence.
