April 2, Sheffield Drive (San Jose Christian School)
An unknown suspect vandalized three picnic tables.

Assault
April 4, Decorah Lane
A female victim reported that her boyfriend head-butted her inside their residence. A report was taken.

Attempted lewd conduct with a minor
April 5
A 29-year-old male, from San Francisco, had been exchanging instant messages with a person he thought was a 12-year-old girl. The messages were explicit and sexual in nature. He then came to Campbell to meet with the 12-year-old and was arrested.

Grand theft
April 7, Hamilton Avenue (Mervyn’s)
An unknown suspect grabbed approximately 18 polo shirts and left in a white 4 door Infinity. A report was taken.

Minor in possession of alcohol; Interfering with a police officer
April 8, McCoy Avenue (Forest Hill Elementary School)
Five teenagers were caught with two cases of beer near the softball field. Suspect 1 was leaving in his father’s pickup truck as police arrived. Suspect 2 ran off after being told to stop by police and was later located at home. All juveniles were released to their parents.

Theft
April 9, S. San Tomas Aquino Road
An unknown suspect took several real estate signs in the neighborhood. A report was taken.

Assault
April 9, Heritage Village Lane
The female victim invited the suspect over for dinner. They argued and he punched her in the face, causing a minor injury. The suspect fled back to his house before police arrived. A report was sent to the District Attorney’s office.

Burglary
April 10, Crockett Avenue
An unknown suspect used a rock to break open a rear bathroom window of a residence. The suspect removed items including a television. No suspect was seen or heard. A report was taken.

Burglary
April 10, Chalet Woods Circle
Two male suspects contacted the victim at her home identifying themselves as water company workers and informed the victim that they needed to check her water. Neither had identification or uniforms. Both entered the residence, and while one of the suspects was with the victim checking the water the other disappeared in the house. Prior to leaving, one suspect claimed that the victim was entitled to a refund of $30 and asked the victim for change for a $100 bill. The bill appeared fake and the victim declined. After both suspects left the victim discovered that jewelry was missing from her upstairs bedroom. A report was taken.

Burglary
April 17, N. San Tomas Aquino Road (Ace Hardware)
An unknown suspect entered the locked business by unknown means and took nine Dell computers.

Theft
April 18, Linda Avenue
A 49-year-old female suspect argued with her roommate after the suspect stole a DVD player from the victim’s son. The suspect refused to return the item and she was arrested.

Battery
April 18, Cherry Lane (Campbell Middle School)
The suspect has been bullying the victim and on this date he grabbed the victim by the leg during an altercation, which caused the victim to fall to the ground and break his arm. A report was taken.

Armed Robbery, Attempted Murder
April 23, Winchester Boulevard (Park Vasona Liquors)
Two suspects entered the store and held up the clerk at gun point. After handing over the contents in the cash register the clerk chased the suspects outside the store. The first suspect, described as a Hispanic male in his 20’s, 5’8”, wearing a puffy type jacket, shot the clerk. The second suspect is described as a white male in his 20’s, 5’9”, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and carrying a simulated weapon. The suspects ran to a black Honda Civic and drove away. The clerk is expected to live. A report was taken.
