What did you think of the testimony given before a congressional committee recently by Pat Tillman’s mother, Mary, and brother, Kevin and Jessica Lynch regarding false information presented by the military?
(Asked at Nob Hill on W. Campbell Avenue)
“I think they should have testified. I’m not sure if I thoroughly agree with their point if view but I’m glad they had a chance to express it.”

“I feel story for them because they lost their son and brother. They probably needed to testify to make sure they could deal with the grief. But it’s war and there are always cover ups in war; there are cover ups in daily life!”
Scott Perkins, 51

“It was the right thing for them to do because there are so many people getting killed over there. The soldiers needed to be home over a year ago.”
Barbara Mills, 64

“It’s old news; water under the bridge. They are beating a dead horse. It’s sad and it’s tragic, but now it’s time to move away from it. It’s just pure politics to me now."

“I thought their testimony was right on the button. It’s about time someone held our government’s feet to the fire for lying. I hope all these Republican voters are happy with the ‘low-lifes’ they elected.”

"I don’t think they should have because America needs heroes. We would all have been better off if they hadn’t testified."

“I think they should testify. The truth should come out. The military has been hiding secrets for years.”
