From the Mayor’s Desk
Neighborhood meeting, candidates’ forum scheduled
By Jeanette Watson, Mayor
Special to the Times
I’d like to announce that Campbell City Hall will be holding its final Neighbor-hood Meeting this year on Wednesday, May 10 at 7 p.m. at Rosemary Elementary School, 401 W. Hamilton Ave. in Campbell.
We will have booths representing each city department and staffed with experts to answer frequently asked questions and provide handouts on key services. Please come to one of these events and have your questions answered and learn more about what the city does for its customers.
For more information about the Neighborhood Meetings, please call the City Manager’s Office at (480) 866-2125.
Also, the Camp-bell Chamber of Commerce held a Candidates’ Forum last Thursday, May 4, in the City Council Chambers. Attendees had the opportunity to meet the candidates for Santa Clara County Supervisor,
District 4. The Forum was cablecast live on Campbell’s Govern-ment Channel 26, but for those not able to watch the live cablecast, a video recording of the Forum will be replayed on Channel 26 through Election Day, June 6.
For more information, visit the city’s Web site at www.CityofCampbell.com, tune in to Campbell’s Government Cable Channel 26, or call (408) 866-2128. |
