Do you plan to see the new movie “Flight 93” which is about the plane that went down in Pennsylvania on Sept. 11, 2001?
(Asked at Nob Hill Foods at Kirkwood Plaza)
“Yes I do because of the heroism of the individuals on the plane; to prove that the terrorists didn't win, they lost.”

“Yes, I'd like to see it. I listened to a program that interviewed one of the actors that played a terrorist. I don't think it's too soon; there have been other documentaries about it. I think people get so cushioned into their lives that they forget these things and they should be reminded.”

“I don't know. I imagine I'll see it sometime; I'll probably rent it. I'm curious about the human experience. I think everyone can put themselves in the passenger’s place and get some idea of how we would conduct ourselves in such a dire situation.”

“I don't plan to see it because I hear it's a little too true to life. It leaves you a little depressed and flat and that's not why I go to the movies.”

"No, I really don't have any interest in seeing the movie. I'm angry at Hollywood, it's too fresh and it's too soon to make that movie--it's just a replay of that horrible day. I'm very concerned for the families of the passengers. How many families were actively consulted? Because I'm from New York, and the notion of the whole World Trade Center being gone, I just think it's wrong. I recognize that the passengers on the plane are heroes. It's just not good timing. Besides, I think it's still too soon and it will be way too emotional."

“I'm not sure. I've thought about it and it seems like it would be intense and I'm not sure if I want to get sad when I'm supposed to be being entertained."

“No, I don't plan to see it. Personally, I think it was a very stupid movie to make. I think Hollywood should stop taking big disasters and making them into movies. I don't think the movie is justified for the victim's families. I think it's a sick thing to do, we should pay honor to the passengers on the flight not diminish their heroism. I lost three cousins at the World Trade Center, at both points of entry. I just think Hollywood takes the sickest thing and makes a movie about it. It lacks humanity.”

"That's a good question, I've been debating whether to see it. I'll probably wait until the DVD comes out and watch it at home. I cry at anything and I'd rather cry in the privacy of my own home. I think it's important to see. It let's people see the human side of that day, and makes it seem more personal."
