Christmas in July Casino Night on July 14 benefits Campbell’s Annual Carol of Lights Holiday event

The place to be on Friday, July 14 is downtown Campbell’s Villa Ragusa for the Christmas in July Casino Night, which benefits Campbell’s Annual Carol of Lights Holiday event. The Carol of Lights, previously put on by the city, is now privately funded. A $50 admission ticket buys you $1,000 in chips (poker, craps, blackjack, slots) and the event includes a silent auction and a giant raffle with prizes such as a digital camera, DVD/VCR combo and a 52” flat screen TV. A drink ticket and “heavy” hors d’oeuvres are included in the price of admission. The party kicks off at 7 p.m. and ends at 11 p.m.

Air Force Airman 1st class Dipankar Sutradhar is assigned to 27th Fighter Wing

Air Force Airman 1st Class Dipankar Sutradhar has arrived for duty at Cannon Air Force Base, Clovis, N.M. Sutradhar, an avionics system apprentice, is assigned to the 27th Fighter Wing. He has one year of military service.

The airman is the son of Purnima and Pranballav Sutradhar of Campbell and is a 2001 graduate of Overfelt High School.
