Sunnyoaks Avenue
A 35-year-old white female fled the scene after rear ending a 2002 Jaguar. She was later located at her residence and found to be under the influence. She was arrested.

Domestic Battery
Alpha Court
The suspect got into an argument with his girlfriend over his sobriety. The suspect attempted to burn the victim with a cigarette, which she was able to avoid. The suspect left the apartment with the cell phone and cordless house phone so the victim could not contact the police. The suspect had fled the scene prior to the police arrival. A report was sent to the District Attorney.

Assault
South Bascom Avenue (Pruneyard)
The victim was standing near Mrs. Fields when the suspect, who was seen loitering nearby, came up behind the victim and hit him over the head with a bottle. The victim sustained an injury to his head. An off-duty Sunnyvale police officer gave chase losing the suspect near the parking structure. After a closer look at the broken bottle, it was determined that the bottle was a theatrical bottle. The victim adamantly denied that the assault was staged, however he admitted that his occupation was as a filmmaker. The suspect was described as a white male adult in his 20s, 6 feet tall with a medium build, short blond hair and a beard wearing a multi-colored shirt and a dark pair of shorts. A report was taken.

Assault
South Winchester Boulevard
A victim and was with his girlfriend when he was assaulted by three suspects. The victim stated that he did not know why he was assaulted. The victim blacked out during the assault after the suspects began kicking him in the head. The suspects fled into the Nido Drive/Adler Avenue area. Suspect 1 was described as a black male, approximately 24 years old, 5’8”, 220 lbs., brown hair, Suspect 2 was described as a black male, approximately 28 years old, 5’10”, 240 lbs., black hair, Suspect 3 was described as a black male, approximately 22 years old, 5’11”, 180 lbs., black hair. A report was taken.

Vandalism
South Winchester Boulevard (Walgreens)
Police responded to a report of a subject who had exited his car and was hitting another car with a baseball bat in the Walgreens’ parking lot. Both vehicles were located traveling westbound on Campbell Avenue. After contact with all parties involved in the altercation it appears that Suspect 3 threw a water bottle at the Audi when they were stopped at a red light. Both vehicles then chased each other around several streets in the city. At one point Suspect 1 cut off the Dodge and a collision occurred. While both vehicles were next to each other Suspect 1 pulled out a bat, leaned out the window of his vehicle and began to hit the Dodge. There were no injuries. A report was sent to the District Attorney.

San Tomas Aquino Road (Tsing Tao)
A verbal argument turned physical when the suspect hit the victim with an 8-foot wooden stake causing minor injuries to the victim. The suspect was arrested.

Nido Drive/Wilton Avenue
A 48-year-old, Hispanic female was reportedly taking off her pants and walking down the street. She was contacted by police and it was discovered that she had a warrant out for her arrest.

Death Threat
Winchester Boulevard/Sunnyoaks Avenue
A suspect drove up to the victims at the intersection and threatened to cut one of the victims’ heads off because he was seeing the suspect’s ex-wife. Today both victims received a letter from the suspect’s brother stating that he told his brother that he was going to indeed kill both of them. A report was sent to the District Attorney.

Theft
East Hamilton Avenue (Carrow’s)
Two subjects were seen entering the restaurant. An officer arrived and contacted the 27-year-old suspect who was found to be in possession of his father’s credit cards. His father desired prosecution. The suspect was arrested.
