Heritage Theatre offers exciting lineup for 2006-07 season

The Heritage Theatre continues to be the jewel that we knew it would be, hosting a wide variety of cultural groups and events throughout the year.

I am excited to share the line-up for this year’s season of shows at the Campbell Heritage Theatre. We have a wide variety of shows sure to please all ages and interests. If one of the shows is not exactly to your tastes, I encourage you to attend anyway. You may be surprised at how much you enjoy the show. Music and culture are important ingredients in everyone’s life. Enjoy the shows:

- Friday, Oct.20 at 8 p.m.: Boyz II Men

- Sunday, Jan. 14 at 3 p.m.: Hungarian State Folk Ensemble *

- Thursday, Feb. 15 at 7:30 p.m.: The Moscow Festival Ballet presents “Cinderella” *

- Friday, March 23 at 8 p.m.: Urban Cowboy – The Musical

- Friday, April 20 at 8 p.m.: Jim Brickman presenting the Disney Songbook

- Thursday, May 17 at 8 p.m.: David Benoit

*Discounted tickets for children aged 12 and younger will be available for these shows.

Season Tickets go on sale Tuesday, Aug. 15 at the Heritage Theatre Box Office. They are also available by phone at (408) 866-2700 or on-line through the Heritage Theatre’s Web site: www.heritagetheatre.org. Information about the artists, ticket prices and other upcoming events at the Heritage Theatre are also available on the Web site. Tickets to individual shows will go on sale on Tuesday, Sept. 12.

I am also very excited about the new partnership forged between our Heritage Theatre and American Musical Theatre of San Jose. AMTSJ will be producing their very own holiday musical fantasy Christmas Dreamland in our Heritage Theatre from Nov. 24 through Dec. 24. It promises to be a piece of pure yuletide entertainment for the whole family. This will be a world premier event and the beginning of a five-year partnership.
