David Keller to head Campbell, San Jose West Rotary Club
David Keller, a former executive for non-profit organizations and now a “professional father,” is the new 2005-06 president of the Campbell, San Jose West Rotary Club. He’s coined a new phrase for his classification in Rotary—a “Stay-At-Home-Rotarian.”
The club meets every Tuesday at 12:15 p.m. for a luncheon program at the Eastfield-Ming Quong’s Campbell Campus on Llewellyn Avenue. The club’s members are drawn from all segments of the business community and are active in a number of community service activities both locally and through its district and international organizations.
Keller, a Stanford University graduate, was a Rotarian in suburban Seattle prior to moving to the Bay Area, where he rejoined Rotary. He is the father of two young daughters, ages 6 and 18 months. After several job changes he elected to quit working and stay at home to raise his children and run the domestic side of the family.
New club officers and directors for the current term are: President-elect Derek Fujikawa, certified public accountant; Secretary Marv Bamburg, architect; and Treasurer Phil Nielsen, attorney.
Other members of the Board of Directors include Dr. Gary Arita, Club Service; Bob Yager, Membership; Rick Davis, Community Service; Judy Armstrong, Vocational Service; and Cecelia Babkirk, International Service.
For membership information please call (408) 287-8119 or visit the club website at www.RotaryCSJw.org.
