City celebrates grand openings of Firestone and State Farm Insurance

With fanfare and best wishes, the City of Campbell Chamber of Commerce celebrated the grand openings of Firestone Complete Auto Care and State Farm Insurance recently.

“Thank you for choosing our city,” said Campbell Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Betty Deal. “We are very pleased that you are here.”

Firestone actually opened five weeks ago. Much of the original building located at Winchester Blvd. and Rincon Avenue had been destroyed in a two alarm fire in July of 2007. The new construction added a state of the art building with customer friendly pods and immaculate work stalls that offers maintenance, repairs and tires.

“Some customers think we just do tires,” said new Firestone Store Manager George Garcia. “We do complete auto care, everything but smogs and body work and we’re open seven days a week. And I’m fascinated with this town’s leadership. We want to be a part of this.”

Campbell resident Linda Logan is pleased that the new facility is open for business.

“I’m very happy with the improvement,” said Logan. “This is a very convenient location and they have great deals like their lifetime alignment service.

Aaron Sessions of State Farm Insurance celebrated the grand opening with city fanfare on July 24. The new office is located on Winchester Blvd. near Hacienda Avenue. Sessions brings a plethora of experience in life and casualty insurance, mortgage, retirement planning and financial services and is pleased to be located in Campbell.

“I’m really excited to have the office here and serve the Campbell community,” said Sessions. “My top priority is that my clients are financially secure. I love what I do.”
