CAMPBELL CRIME REPORT

Assault
Aug. 4, Echo Avenue
A suspect pushed his nephew to the ground then dragged him into the house by his shirt because the juvenile has been using alcohol and drugs. A report was taken.

Assault
Aug. 9, Hamilton Avenue
A 32-year-old female suspect threw a cup of bleach on her husband as he walked in the door without any warning. She was arrested.

Vandalism
Aug. 11, S. Bascom Avenue
A 51-year-old suspect from San Jose put nail polish on the hood of the victim’s Dodge Durango after they had been in a dispute over a parking stall. A report was sent to the District Attorney.

Burglary, Prowling
Aug. 15, Dunster Drive
The victim observed a male peeping in the window as she was showering. While the victim was at work, an unknown suspect entered the residence via an unlocked bathroom window and took property from the bedroom. A week earlier another resident on Dunster Drive observed a male peeping in her window. A report was taken.

Resisting Arrest, Drunk in Public
Aug. 19, Nello Drive at Adler Avenue
Police responded to the area on the report of people in the street preparing to fight. Upon arrival, a group of about 40-50 people was dispersing. A 16-year-old suspect was running with a group and jumped a fence. Officers caught the suspect after a short foot pursuit and the suspect was found to be intoxicated. He was arrested.

Robbery
Aug. 21, Hamilton Avenue (Mervyn’s)
An unknown suspect skateboarded up to the victim as she was walking through the parking lot and took her purse from her hand.

Drunk Driving
Aug. 26, Hamilton Avenue (Jack-in-the-Box)
A 43-year-old male from San Jose ran his vehicle into another vehicle in the drive-through. Upon contact, he was determined to be driving under the influence and was arrested.

Grand Theft
Aug. 26, Hamilton Avenue (Home Depot)
The victim went to Home Depot to hire a day laborer. When she stopped her vehicle, she was surrounded by day laborers that pushed their way into her car. She managed to get them out of the vehicle, but discovered her purse was missing from the passenger seat.
