Battery

Hamilton Avenue
A suspect was walking in the crosswalk at Hamilton and Winchester Avenues. The victim honked his horn at the suspect who followed the victim as he parked his car in a parking lot. The suspect challenged the victim to fight, which he refused to do. The suspect proceeded to kick the victim in the back. He then fled from the area. The suspect, whom police were unable to locate, was described as an East Indian male, 5’4”, 170 pounds, gray hair, wearing green pants, green shirt and a straw hat.

Assault with a deadly weapon

Campbell Avenue
A worker had recently broken up with her boyfriend and on this night the boyfriend followed the worker to a parking lot. She placed a call to her friend because she said she was afraid of her boyfriend. When her female friend arrived at the parking lot the boyfriend intentionally rammed the friend’s vehicle with his car. When the boyfriend backed away from the friend’s vehicle she became enraged and intentionally rammed the boyfriend’s vehicle. The boyfriend fled the scene before the police arrived and there were no injuries sustained in the collisions. A report was sent to the District Attorney.

Battery

Gale Drive
The 23-year-old male suspect and his girlfriend had been drinking with friends. The suspect drove the victim to his apartment and in the presence of their friends he threw a hockey stick at the victim and hit her in the face. This did not cause an injury. A fight then broke out between the suspect and the victim’s friends. The suspect was located inside his apartment and arrested.

Rape

W. Rincon Avenue (J.D. Morgan Park)
The victim was sleeping in the park at 10:30 p.m. when she was pinned down by a male suspect. The suspect held a knife to the victim’s throat and raped her. The victim could not give a description of the suspect because of how dark it was. A report was taken.

Domestic Violence

Pollard Road
A victim called Campbell Police stating that she was being beaten by her boyfriend. The 41-year-old male was stopped in the driveway of the residence as he was attempting to leave and arrested.

Public Intoxication

E. Campbell Avenue (Gaslighter Theatre)
A suspect was creating a disturbance inside the theatre. He was found to be too intoxicated to care for himself and was cited and released to his father.

Vandalism

Payne at Monica
A suspect was observed spray painting “GVS” on the sidewalk. The suspect threw away the paint can as the Campbell Police pulled up. It was determined that “GVS” is a female Sureno gang in the Fruitdale area. The male suspects ultimately admitted to being “VPT” Sureno gang members. All four suspects admitted to being involved with gang graffiti located in the area. They were sent to Juvenile Hall.

Domestic Violence

Bascom Avenue (Pruneyard Inn)
A 24-year-old, white male from San Jose punched a 19-year-old white female in the face several times at a party. The suspect and victim both left the Inn and caused another disturbance at Bascom Avenue and Apricot. The suspect fled prior to police arrival and the victim had significant injuries to her face. A report was taken.

S. Bascom Avenue
A victim was whistling in the parking lot. The suspect told the victim to stop whistling. Words were exchanged and the suspect began punching the victim causing a minor injury. The suspect fled before the police arrived and a report was taken.

Robbery

Sunnyoaks Avenue (7-11)
An employee reported that three white male adults entered the store with plastic bags over their heads. One of the suspects told him to stand in the beer aisle while the other two suspects took the cash drawer, cigars and lotto tickets. Suspects possibly fled westbound based on the trail of cigars and lotto tickets. A report was taken.

Domestic Battery

San Tomas Aquino Road
A 47-year-old suspect was involved in a violent argument with his family and used a bat to damage property in the home. He was arrested.

Vandalism

Harrison Drive
For the past two months the victim believes that a suspect has vandalized his Mercedes Benz with felt markers and poured dirt on his car because of where he parks his car.

Annoying

San Tomas Aquino Road
A suspect driving a very clean white Mercedes Benz SUV, approached two female juveniles walking home from school and offered them money to get in his car and to dance for him. The incident was reported approximately one hour after it had occurred. The same suspect was also seen by the two girls the day before in a store when he offered to pay for their purchases for no reason. The vehicle he was driving at that time was described as a clean black pick up. A report was taken

Armed Robbery, Assault with a Deadly Weapon

W. Hamilton Avenue (Rosemary Elementary School)
Two male suspects confronted two juvenile victims at the school and accused the victims of being “scraps.” The 13-year-old suspect was armed with a knife and he attempted to stab one of the victims. Then he and the 15-year-old suspect took a bicycle from one of the victims and soccer equipment from another. The description of the suspects matched an ID of suspects seen in front of Safeway on Winchester. The 15-year-old’s residence was searched and the bicycle was found. The soccer equipment was located on the front porch. The first suspect was contacted in the neighborhood, and both suspects were booked and sent to Juvenile Hall.

Vandalism

McCoy Avenue (Forest Hill Elementary School)
Vandals damaged a display case, a planter and a garbage can over the weekend. A report was taken.
