Westmont High School’s class of 2007 graduation ceremonies
The sweltering sun and a late start couldn’t put a damper on the activities as Westmont High School held its graduation ceremony on June 14 in the football bowl. Three hundred and twelve young men and women marched down the aisles to accept their diplomas and flip their tassels to signify the beginning of a new life.
For Activities Director Diane Sweeney the graduation was especially poignant. “This being my last year at Westmont, this has been an extra special class to me. They have been active all year, involved in many sports and made this one of the best years at Westmont High School,” she said.

Valley Christian holds inspirational Football Camp for Down
syndrome athletes

A student with Down syndrome—and a stalwart to the Warriors’ football program—inspired Valley Christian head football coach Mike Machado so much that the coach decided to create a football camp just for kids with Down syndrome.
