Jog-A-Thon raises $15,000 for Castlemont programs
Library, outdoor life lab, field trips, computer lab benefit

Students from Castlemont in Campbell participated in a schoolwide Jog-A-Thon May 25 to raise money for the elementary school. The annual event, which more than 700 students participated in, raised over $15,000.

Celebrating
‘Nawlin’s’ style
Campbell’s annual ode to New Orleans food and music was held the weekend of May 20-21 and revelers filled the street to dance to lively music and sample spicy Cajun food. The mood was relaxed as over 175 arts and crafts vendors shared their creations to appreciative festival-goers on a cloudy Saturday, however Sunday’s steady rain kept the crowd to a minimum. “This year’s Boogie was terrific,” said Betty Deal, executive director of the Campbell Chamber, which sponsored the event.
