Troop Fest 2006 draws huge crowd to USS Hornet Museum to raise funds to send necessities to our troops

Thousands of Bay Area military families and their supporters turned out on Saturday, September 30 to board the historic USS Hornet aircraft carrier to celebrate the 2nd annual Operation Care and Comfort Troop Fest.

Thirteenth annual Almaden Times Classic raises $20,000
for Almaden Valley Counseling Service

They celebrated in the fields at Bret Harte on Monday—running laps. The 13th annual Almaden Times Classic podium, the day prior, proved two degrees of separation between Bret Harte Middle School and championship distance running.
